Build one subassembly at a time

Follow the numbered steps. The right-hand rest with a 4 mm spacer is shown; the left-hand and other height options are identified in step 18.

Hardware, captive nuts and washer thicknesses are included in every view. The small inset shows the assembled result. Test the fit coupon and one plunger first; the revised grip and hand support need their own fit trials.

STEP 01

Join the side bases

Join the three tray sections

STEP 03

Raise the tray on six pedestals

STEP 04

Mount the fixed X rail posts

STEP 05

Dock the tray to the side bases

Prepare the moving X feet

Install the two low X rails

Prepare the two Y carriages

Fit the four adjustable guides

Build the spring-return plungers

Assemble the inner joystick pivot

Fit the gimbal to the upper frame

Close the head stack

Fit the grip and center button

Attach the head to the Y carriages

Install the head and the Y rods

Fit the three drag knobs
