PUMPKIN SPINNER — STL SET Units: millimeters WHAT THIS IS An estimated printable prototype based on the supplied front-view image. It replaces the four ghost decorations with matching lobed pumpkins, keeps a central pumpkin, and uses a cross-arm rotor turning around a vertical post. The image does not show side/rear dimensions, so the sizes and hidden mechanism are reasonable estimates. Four pumpkins are evenly spaced to improve balance; that is a small layout adjustment from the image. FILES - pumpkin_spinner_base.stl — cross-shaped base - pumpkin_spinner_axle.stl — 8 mm diameter vertical post - pumpkin_spinner_hub.stl — rotating sleeve; 17 mm outer diameter, 8.8 mm bore - pumpkin_spinner_rotor_arm_x.stl and pumpkin_spinner_rotor_arm_y.stl — two crossing 156 mm arms - pumpkin_spinner_center_pumpkin.stl and pumpkin_spinner_center_stem.stl - pumpkin_spinner_pumpkin_01.stl through _04.stl and matching _stem.stl files - pumpkin_spinner_retaining_cap.stl — top stop ASSEMBLY 1. Fix the axle upright in the center of the base. This joint is stationary; use glue if needed. 2. Slide the hub over the axle. Its 8.8 mm bore gives 0.4 mm total diametral clearance around the 8 mm post. 3. Position the two arms perpendicular to one another and secure their crossing to the hub. Keep glue out of the hub bore. 4. Attach one small pumpkin to each arm end, with the pumpkin centers about 78 mm from the axis. Glue the stem into the top of each pumpkin. 5. Center the large pumpkin over the arm crossing/hub and attach it to the rotor arms without gluing it to the stationary axle. 6. Fit the retaining cap at the top of the post. Do not press it down against the hub; leave a little vertical play so the rotor turns freely. 7. Spin by hand. If rubbing occurs, lightly sand the post and check that the cap is not clamping the hub. PRINT SETTINGS - PLA or PETG; 0.4 mm nozzle - Layer height: 0.16–0.20 mm - 3–4 walls/perimeters; 15–25% infill - Pumpkins: print with their flat-ish bottoms on the bed; inspect overhang preview - Stems: print upright; use a brim if needed - Arms: print flat; no supports expected - Hub and cap: print flat on an end - Base: print flat - Axle: print vertically only if bed adhesion is reliable; otherwise print on its side with supports IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS These are procedurally generated prototype meshes, not a mechanically validated CAD assembly. No physical test print or slicer simulation was run. The rotor arms, hub, and pumpkins need careful glue assembly; the hub is a separate sleeve and should remain free on the axle. The pumpkin faces from the reference are not reproduced; the replacement pumpkins use lobed bodies and separate stems for robust printing. Check each STL in your slicer before printing.
