# Source credit and derivative-model license

The mounting interface in every grip is derived from **Design piece.stp** by
**Thrustmaster**, from [THRUSTMASTER : Official TH8S Gear knob files](https://www.printables.com/model/1825116-thrustmaster-official-th8s-gear-knob-files),
Printables model 1825116, downloaded 23 October 2026.

The original listing specifies **Creative Commons - Attribution - Noncommercial -
Share Alike (CC BY-NC-SA)**. Its accessible metadata does not specify a version;
consult the source listing for the full applicable license. Original downloads are
retained unchanged in `reference/official/`.

The five derivative model files in `models/` are shared under the same
Attribution - Noncommercial - Share Alike terms. Attribute Thrustmaster for the
mounting reference and this TH8S / Shift Studies 04 project for the five new grip
exteriors. Changes from the original are the exterior grip geometry, surface
details and a rigid coordinate transform of the original female core. The
mounting cavity is retained.

Retain this attribution and the source link when redistributing derivatives.
Commercial use is not permitted by the listed source license. Share adaptations

The scripts and renders accompany this independent design package. Product names
and marks belong to their respective owners. Fit and function have been checked
